Couples Coaching Intensives
If your relationship feels too strained to wait months for change, a two-day intensive may be a better fit than weekly sessions.
After years of working with couples in long-term therapy, I saw how slow change could feel - especially when things were already painful at home. I created this intensive model to accelerate the process, and couples consistently tell me the impact feels immediate and meaningful.

Who this is for
This couples coaching intensive is designed for couples who:
-
Feel an urgent need for change
-
Find it too painful to move slowly over many weeks
-
Want direct, practical guidance rather than open-ended talk therapy
Unlike traditional therapy, this coaching format is:
-
Focused on what’s happening right now between you
-
Action-oriented, with clear tools and structures
-
Direct and honest, while also deeply supportive and kind

How we’ll work
Drawing on Relational Life Therapy (RLT), experiential exercises, and my somatic training (body-based awareness work), we get to the heart of your patterns without shaming or blaming either partner. The goal is for you to leave with:
-
Immediate clarity about what’s happening between you
-
Concrete practices you can use long after our two days together
In the intensive, we will likely work on:
-
Learning new skills and practical tools
-
Understanding your own reactions, defenses, and needs
-
Witnessing your partner take self-responsibility and name their patterns
-
Seeing and shifting your core couple patterns
-
Committing to new connection practices and ongoing self-awareness
Couples intensives are, yes, intense—but in my experience, this format often creates deeper and faster change than traditional weekly sessions, even for couples who have already tried years of therapy.

Who this is (and isn’t) appropriate for
This format is appropriate for couples who:
-
Are on the brink of divorce or separation
-
Have tried various therapists and still feel stuck
-
Are not considering separation, but want more intimacy and connection
-
Are reconnecting after the challenges of parenting or major life transitions
-
Are preparing for a long-term commitment and want a strong foundation
An intensive may not be appropriate if there is ongoing physical violence, active untreated addiction, or a current psychiatric crisis. If you’re unsure, we can talk this through in the consultation.

After the intensive
Some couples want ongoing support after the intensive. Because my schedule is limited, I may not always be able to offer regular follow-up coaching. When I don’t have availability, I’ll provide thoughtful referrals to trusted clinicians or coaches so you remain well supported.

Next step
Current intensive availability is booking four to six months out.
To begin the process, reach out to schedule a no-fee 20-minute Zoom consultation. This gives us a chance to see whether this format is the right fit for your relationship and to answer any questions you might have.
